SOURCE: Overdrive switch blowing fuse on 2002 F150 Ford

Remove the shroud around the steering column and shifter and look closly at the wires coming out of the shifter at the pivot of the shifter, if its not to bad you can tapeit and reposition it and be good to go.

For check passenger compartment fuse panel, is located below and to the left of the steering wheel by the brake pedal. Remove the panel cover to access the fuses.

I have a 2003 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor and I replace my fuse for my radio but my radio still doesn't work


There's 2 fuses for your radio, one works when the key is turn to acc, the other one is a constant battery power (so your radio keeps.memory.of your station)

The police package interceptors had a common problem with the fans seizing up. There was a TSB ford released to correct the issue which called for the replacement of the electric fan assembly with an updated fan assembly.

2003 f 150 transmission overdrive fuse


The problem is that either the wiring harness going to the overdrive control motor has chafed and is shorting out, or the overdrive control motor is bad. Check out the wiring harness VERY carefully, if it's OK replace the control motor.
