Question about Audi A4
That sounds like a misfire in one of the cylinders, likely due to a bad ignition coil. Definitely stop driving it, Get a diagnostic tool (such as a VAG_COM) and figure out which cylinder is causing the problem. Try switching the ignition coils from one cylynder to another and see if the problem follows the cylinder. If so, you know which ignition coil is bad. You can replace a single one, but you should replace them all. Call your dealer too, there have been recalls on the ignition coils because of failures and you might get a free replacement.

it could be a number of things. check your ball joints. i had the same problem with my dodge, i replaced the ball joints and it stopped. your wheels could also need alignment.

Sounds like your ignition coils are going on you... but fortunately Audi has a voluntary recall for these on your car model, and will replace them for you free of charge. Contact your local Audi dealer, and they should take care of this for you!
