HI I HAVE A MITSUBISHI GTO 1991 AND NEED TO KNOW ABOUT ALARM

HELLO I BOUGHT A GTO BUT THERE IS A LIGHT ON TOP OF THE DASH GRILL WITCH I ASUME IS FOR THE ALARM OR IMOBALIZA FAR RIGHT CORNER WHERE I PUT THE TAX DISC BUT NETHER WORK AND LIGHT DOES NOT LIGHT UP WONDERED IF YOU COULD TELL ME WHERE ALARM IS LOCATED OR IF IT COULD BE A FUSE PROBLEM OR IF THEY DONT COME WITH EATHER AND THE LIGHT IS FOR SOMTHING ELSE AS IT WAS IMPORTED IN 2003 ALL THE INFORMATION ON THE CAR IS IN JAPANISE PLEASE HELP

I think this is a sensor, but cannot remember what for, mine never lit up,either, the car drove well and i never worried about it, it may be for climate control. sorry but this is all i can recall,

The warer the engine cets the louder the top end


Hi I had the same problem when I purchased GTO, garage replaced engine however a few days later same noise returned, turns out garage had serviced car and used inferior oil, changed to Mobil 1 and have not had any noise since, had car 4 years now! Expensive mistake by dealer !!

Changing door mirrors on Mitsubishi gto to folding type


Try gtouk.com or 3si.com as it isn't that simple as you need 2 extra wires running to your door and extra relays to control the folding action.

Mitsubishi gto only third and reverse gearbox removed and reconed


You need to flash the tcm for codes. You can do this with a jumper wire and a volt meter. But you likely have a bad TCM.

i have just put one in mine!

the only way you can do it if the plugs are not on, will
be to colour code the wires to pins. if you need the colour to pin codes

http://stealth316.com/misc/stim.pdf is the 91 manual. there's four lines that go to the rear steerng so you may have gotten things crossed.
Here's a thread about AWS Delete. you will also have to replace mechanical parts other wise your rear wheels will steer randomly on their own.
