Question about Chevrolet Cars & Trucks
Timings off, or bad ignition module in new distributor. Disconnect coil wire. Remove number on sparkplug, front left sitting in drivers seat.Have someone bump motor over while holding finger in spark plog hole. Crank slow till you hear/frrl a hard compression push. Check rotor in relation to number one plug on distributor cap. Probably off a couple teeth. Doesn't take much. If not that, replace module in distributor. Go new, not junkyard unless you know the boneyard motor was good that you took it out of.
