Question about 2004 Acura RSX
Ive tried several different auto zone stores just to make sure their tool wasnt bad, and everyone wouldnt even connect to my car. Is it possible to replace that port or do i have to do something more extreme? i just want to know what is causing my check engine light to come on.
You can get one from the junkyard and splice it in, however most time when there is no communication you either have a bad ground going to your ecm or yourecm is defective.

The light probably won't go out until you reset it. You should be able to do this by disconnecting the battery and leaving it disconnected for about 5 mins or so.

You may have more than 1, did he by any chance tell you which one, if more than one? Either way, you may have to jack it up & put on safety stands, or just reach down to exhaust manifold, but that depends on engine, which one etc. If you can give more info, we can help. It sticks out from your exhaust manifold, or pipe(s) looks similar to a spark plug and has wire(s) coming from it.
