You will need to remove door panel to fix. Need to have some mechanical sense otherwise have to hire someone. If not fixed properly may reoccur.

My driver side window rolled down unevenly and now it won't roll up all the way.

How are all the connections secured? probably not nuts or screws but special press on fittings. My guess these things came of and are missing.

Qsmoma:

If the window closes when you play with the switch, the switch is probably ok. The window may have jumped out of the track or the track is damaged. Pull the inside door trim and check the track and mechanical arms that extend from the bottom frame of the window.

Put drivers side window back on track

The track is probably broken, most of them are made of a plastic material and if they become stuck will break.

1990 Passenger window keeps falling off tracks. Had new window replaced because it shattered, but still doesnt roll down right. What is wrong?

Your window has a lower glider that floats on a track, and sometimes when people replace the glass they fail to replace the stopper on the end, which acts as a brake. If you can see the track with the panel off, watch as you roll up the window and see if the rollers stay in the track. Also remember that the glass has a glider glued to its back side to keep the window level as you roll. The most common problem here is the glass slipping off track, and a new track inserted into your window frame will fix that (Dealer Item)

Windows defective

The window track is out of adjustment and the track lining is probably warn. You need to remove the door panel to gain access to the window track. Once in the door you will see the tracks and the adjusting nuts. Loosen the nuts and snug up the track, not too tight and not bent.Try the window a few times before reassembly. Great truck I hope he enjoys it, good luck.
