There are paddles that route the air. Sounds like some of your paddles are not working. These used to be vacuum controlled, I don't know if they are anymore. This isn't a solution but gives you something to look at.

Thank you for the suggestion. I have also been told it's the "acuator" (I don't know if that is spelled correctly) and I've been told it's the control panel.

Heat TEMP and blower problem.

Your blend doors are not working properly. There is small electric motors that move them. Shouldn't be really expensive to have fixed.

Heat comes thru driver's side vents, but blows cold air thru passenger side vents

You likely have a faulty blend door. It could be electrically, mechanically related, or even a broken door. It may be the blend door motor, or possibly the temp sensor.

Air and or heat comes out of rear vents and defrost only nothing at feet or through vents on a 2000 chevy silverado

Check the vacuum lines, mainly the main ones under the hood that go to the interior of the truck. You should find that you have a broken line and once you repair the line your problem will be solved.

1998 Buick LeSabre Custom I will turn on the A/C and air will only blow out the defrost vents sometimes it will change over to the proper vents. At times I use to switch it over to heater and back to A/C...

Hi! It may not be a vaccum problem. I think that the hoses that goes thru the main vent is the problem. They may have fall thats why theres no air coming out of the main vents only on the defrosters. Check the hoses and connect them to the main vents and it will resolve this. HOpe this helps and have a good one!

I had a 90 Cutlass Supreme that did that too. I just got into the dash and forced the arm on the main gate open.
