Most likely its your alternator ,i would charge the battery and take it to the nearsest auto parts store and they can check it for free ,try autozone if u have 1,but take a extra battery incase in dies also check the ignitin fuse under the hood that could be the starting problem

SOURCE: battery goes dead randomly ,other times starts right up

I had the same problem, every 3-4 months the battery was dead. Found to be the computer staying in a self diagnostic mode that was slowly draining the battery.

Cheers

SOURCE: 1998 Chrysler Concorde Starting Problem

First of all, you should never touch the gas when starting it, on a fuel injected engine. Whether engine is cold, or warmed up, you shouldn't touch gas pedal. That was o.k. years back when carburetors were used, but not with fuel injection. Yes you will cause flooding especially when warmed up. Now there is a good chance you have a sensor or something acting up, but I'm guessing they checked for that when checking battery problem. You may be able to check for codes by cycling key, have yoou tried that, or had codes read yet?

Hyundai Excel X3 / Accent X3 has trouble starting, a lot of vibrating and shaking.

This is starting to sound very much like a blocked catalytic converter on the exhaust system. Try unbolting the exhaust in front of the catalytic unit and see if it will start and run normally. If it does then the unit needs replacing, if not then thats me tapped out for ideas.

Car goes completely dead. Drove car for a while and after a short stop at the post office tried to start the car but completely dead. After about 10 minutes car it regained electrical and started again....

does goes completely dead mean it stops running while going down the steet or maybe only when you come to a stoplight? if it runs ok and just will not start as it sounds when you return after a short period of parking it.there are several oter things unclear.when you turn the key to start it do you hear the usual sounds like the engine is turning but it just wont run=one issue.if you hear nothing at all= dead baterry, loose connection in the wiring, bad starter. it sounds like the starter is working but the engine will not run.this could be a problem with the ignition system= computersystems =crank sensor. or fuel supply problems. nothins easy anymore. sorry.

Hi my MMI system on 2004 A6 asgone dead, no power

No solution, same problem, but had many strange moments: 4 months ago during 100 kms or so it stopped, then suddenly came back, and worked ever since. A few days ago, it started happening again: NAV stuck, then radio dead, and gradually the rest disappeared. I did a Reset, and since that moment I see the intro-screen and then it goes black. Hitting the TEL button is somehow also a Reset...

Do the previous 2 posters have anything to report on this matter? It would be VERY welcome!

Thanks,
Jeff

Hi, first verify you have ignition spark and good fuel pressure. Then verify all scheduled maintenance has been performed-spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter ect....Also verify you have good compression...Do diagnostics on the computer and sensors....Good Luck!!!!
