I have a 2001 Lincoln LS with a 3.9L, I changed the heater core, and the OGM heater line that had a crack in it. I alos topped off the antifreeze, I ran the car for 20 minutes and felt all the heater lines...

Your problem could be caused by an air bubble in the heater coil. Take off the thermostat, turn the heater control valve off and on. If it starts working, replace the thermostat. If not, it is probably the heater control valve which will need replaced.

No heating

1: MAKE SURE THE ENGINE TEMP. IS CORRECT 195*F
2: YOU CAN CONTROL THE VENT DIRECTIONS
3:COOLANT IS FULL
IF ENGINE RUN COOL CAN'T HEAT THE HEATER CORE/ REPLACE THERMOSTAT
IF CANT CONTROL THE VENT DIRECTION/YOU HAVE VACUUM LEAK (THE SAME VACUUM CONTROL THE HEATER BLEND DOOR)
IF THERE IS NOT COOLANT / HOT WATER CAN'T RICH THE HEATER CORE
START WITH BASIC CHECK BEFORE WE GO TO DEEP.
AND PLEASE GIVE MORE INFORMATION

I have a 2000 Lincoln LS. I've changed the thermostat, and replaced the hoses but my car is still overheating. Is there something I might be overlooking?

Make sure your cooling fan kicks on.
Otherwise, it sounds like a possible leak...maybe a weeping water pump or a leak in the heater core.

Hope this helps...

2004 lincoln water leak in left back passenger floor pan

It could one of two things. If it is the heater core leaking the water would be coolant and have the distinctive smell of coolant and would be sweet to the taste if you touch a bit of it to the tongue. It could on the other hand be condensation from the AC condenser coil which is leaking into the cab because the drain port which is designed to lead the water out of the car, but due to a blockage, is letting it leak into the cab. If it is coolant, the heated core needs to be replaced. If it is clear water you need to trace the overflow pipe and clear the outlet blockage. My first option would be the core leaking.

What is causing my Lincoln Ls 2000 V6 to blow smoke out of the vents? Smells like oil possibly.

the smoke is coolant be vaporized over the heater core, u need to replace the heater core, this requires removing the entire dash assembly, a 12 hour job in this car.

My lincoln started leaking radiator fluid once i turned on my heater, now it want stop unless car is off..

Where does it leak? If inside the car on the passenger side floorboard, then your heater core is leaking. If it is leaking under the engine on the passenger side of the car, you might just have a heater hose that goes from the radiator to the heater core that is leaking.

Good luck
