Pull out the door panel and put it back on the track just the window up and then slid it back on the track and tighten the bolts on the track : )

Do you mean it fell? If so you need to go into the door itself and put back everything properly or replace broken part. If it went down and won't come up then it may be the mechanism or motor.

SOURCE: my freelander front wiper fuse keeps blowing - can anyone help?

You have a short in the wiring. Have you had work done to it recently? Some times there is a minute tear in the wiring installation which, when it touches metal, will ground out the wiring and blow your fuses. Take it to the dealer to a repair shop that does electrical work. They'll put it on their computer to find out where the short is.
It is fortunate that the fuses blow instead of the vehicle catching fire.

Engine continues to run after key taken out and blowing out white smoke

dont worry, the white smoke will be coming from a small 'exhaust' underneath the front bumper - passenger side. this is because your car has a 'fuel burning heater' (FBH) fitted which burns diesel through an auxilary heater to warm the inside of the car quicker.i had the same concerns when i bought my 2004 freelander, i was told that the FBH only comes into operation when the outside temp is less than 5degrees but mines comes on regardless of outside temp!

hope this helps

My back passengers window does not go up and down on the electric switch ? motor works, just think window is detached inside door panel, is this easy to access and self-fix?? Many thanks Col

if the motor works then the regulator is broken, you hear the motor running ? is this how you now the motor is good? if so then check the regulator. just remove the panel and check the regular, this is the part that the motor moves to control the glass and yes you can do the job,the plastic holders or the cable breaks.hope this helps
