Question about 2008 Ford F-350 Super Duty
When I let off the fuel (diesel) I get this sound almost like a huffing/grinding sound from the passenger side, near the firewall/ tranny hump. No loss of power, no fluctuations in the turbo, and it doesn't make the sound any other time except when coming off power - almost sounds like something winding down. Any ideas?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

IF (big if) maintenance was performed properly, it should be great for again that much mileage.
You might want to have the Tranny and the oil pan contents check... just to be sure that all is well.
Anyway, it is a great engine to take a chance on... and 150 K is just broken in......

Check door rubber seal for damage / wear.
To test exhaust simply place a flexible object over exhaust pipe to seal it. If no leaks it should blow it off.
