Question about 2005 Peugeot 307 HDi
When i leave my car ,after a short time it locks itself then every few minutes the horn blasts . It never used to lock on its own , dont know where to start to fix it , tried removing fuse 23 to stop it . but alarm still goes off !!!! anyone .... help its driving us nuts

its called lock bounce and you can find out which door is causing the problem by opening each door one at a time and lock it with the door open, when youve done that shut them all and try again as they lock in sequince.

Remove the door pannel and spray releasing oil over the central locking solinoid.That should sort it for you good luck.

Check the fob battery because if the battery has gone then you can't immobilise the car immobiliser which in turn doesn't let you start the engine however it cranking. open the bonnet and remove the clips of car battery for a good 15-20 minutes and put them back and check your remote key and try to start your car. If nothing happens then let your car diagnosed by a experienced mechanic who is able to read out the ecu codes.
