Question about 2001 Volvo V70
There is a cabon filled canister that allows excess fuel to escape. If it gets plugged up then when you fill the car the excess fuel escapes back out the fill tube. You can check the manual, a good auto parts dealer, a mechanic or the dealership to find out where it is since it likely needs to be replaced.
