Don't know solution but vacuum hoses are generally connected to the intake manifold.

2006 750li passenger defrost not working

BMW defroster works on vacumm so if you have air blowing from the dash vents when the seclector is on A/C and when on bi-leval the air comes out of the dash vents and the floor vents then you have a vacumm leak most likely a vacumm hose is off, Or due to the age of the car the engine heat causes the hoses to crack and break. the BMW V-8 engine has a problem with the rubber holder for the PCV valves cracking and leaking that causes very low vacumm pressure also check all of the vacumm lines that go through the fire wall most likely your problem is just a disconnected or broken vacumm hose or the PCV valve holders.

Tonight my car brakes locked up and it smells strongly of burnt rubber, right before this smell the engine was hesitant when I was trying to push the gas to go, it didn't really go anywhere. Any id

Your hose going to your brake booster came off or has a hole in it. It is a big vacumm hose, about one inch in diameter, coming from the engine to the round black thing behind the master cylinder. This boosts the brakes using vacumm from the engine. When it leaks, the peddle is hard to mash, and the engine is sucking air and running badly.

How to find and fix small evaporative leak in emmission control

this could be several things causing this code, first make sure gas cap has been turned till clicks every time u fill up,could be bad gas cap, then follow fuel lines from the tank under car to the evap box, checking hoses for cracks or need replaced, then if none follow the lines again to motor, most of the time this is also some small lines vacumm hoses that need replaced going to the evap canister, but check vacumm hoses dealing with the evap system, just went through this for my mom on her van and it was two small 5/16 hoses hidden under the air filter box,you could also pay a shop to doo a smoke test on car, could be costly, would try myself first, hope this helps you,it did me and saved a bundle

Four wheel some times will not engage on a 1992 full size blazer. the transfer lever goes into gear but does not engage.i go under the hood move vacum hose and check the MAP senser connections .and mess...

Gm did make a kit to do away with the vacumm set up and make it all electric. very easy to install , short piece of wiring harness and a solenoid for front diff. May try replacing hoses but i dont think any of the vacumm type parts are availiable anymore. I did not think the 1992 year model was vacumm.

Intermitten white smoke from the tailpipe, does not occur all the time but once in a while a large cloud of white smoke

I’ve had vehicles come in with white smoke to me it might be vapor that’s due to water going thru the pistons.
