I solved the problem I just made sure I wired according to the wires on the radio I took out

Not legally, and doing so would also cause problems with the engine computer. Plus the diameter of the pipes are odd to prevent someone from making a connector pipe.

ok you can take the egr valve off and clean it and if that works you my need to take it to get reset on codes other then that also check vacum lines if these do not work you will have to replace and i hate saying that because this part is high.. good luck to you and have a blessed day..

On a 1999 ford explorer XLT the radio will only


sounds like a wiring issue. I'd start by checking the wires around the radio and see if they are chaffed or broken.

check the way the it is folded check the wires and fuses for grounded wires and mis connected wires to your 1992ford Explorer.

The amp should be located cargo area on the drivers side. You will need to remove the panel to get to it.

Need the location of the fuel filter on a 1997 Ford Exployer AWD


The fule filter is up inside the frame on the drivers side. You will need to get special tools to get it off. Since it is a high pressure system you CANNOT cut it out and replace it. Must get the special tools.
