I have a 2007 jeep soft top that leaks. Should I just replace it with a hard top? Will this fix my leaks? My floors get wet, along with my drivers seat and seatbelt.

Replacing it with a hard top would fix the problem. Need to move fast. If mold begins to sprout you will have a seriously difficult problem to fix. What about just replacing the soft top?

SOURCE: 2002 Toyota Solara Convertible seat belts not retracting

The front seatblet retractor springs have weakened. Unfortunatly, there are no "user serviceable parts" on them. They would have to be replaced. How many miles is on it? If you have low mileage, the Toyota Customer Experience Center may provide you some assistance, as the belt replacements are quite expensive. I'd call the CEC and explain your dilemma. SOURCE: floor behind driver seat is wet.

For sure there's a leak somewhere.
check if there's no damage or defects in the door rubbers, check if you can find another wet areas to help you find the leak.
There's a few holes in the floor covered with plastic caps, check if there some missing and if they're not damaged.

SOURCE: wet floor

If this has happened since you started using the A/C it is probably the drain tube for the A/C. They get plugged and usually someone has to go under the car with a coathanger and open the tube up.

SOURCE: water leak to floorboard on drivers side. Carpet

It it happens when it is raining. This seems to be a common problem with Vehicles.

There is a seal on the passenger side Hood Hinge area. If this seal is cracked or broken or missing you will get water in the car every time it rains.
The water runs down the windshield in to the Hing area under the Hood.

You may need to take the hood off to get to the seal. First pour water over the area, if it comes in the car there is your problem.

You can seal it with any water proof silicone sealer .

Why is flooring on drivers side wet during heavy rain along with flooring directly behind driver seat (in back seat area)??

If passenger side is dry it would point to a problem with the door seals on the drivers side either a door or sunroof if you have one. If there is that much water you could sit in the car, have someone use a garden hose or pressure washer on the door and sunroof to see where the leak comes from.

Water leak in to driver side floor get soak and than engine and TC light goes on and car stop moving.where is the water come in from?

Water leaks in along the top of the windshield and runs along the headliner and down the A pilar soaking your main harness plug which leads to a plethora of electrical issues. Eventually if it's not corrected the wet carpets causes the aluminum framework under the shifter console to corrode and you lose all electrical grounds from the fuse panel in the console to the body. It's a design flaw. An aluminum bracket in the console bolted to a steel floor will corrode anyway but the water causes it to happen much faster.

Take the car to a Chevy garage and tell them that is a well known problem with these cars. The first thing the garage will do is want to change a bunch expensive sensors so just stop them before they start. Your problems will continue until the water leak is fixed. Been there done that. 16 trips to three Chevy garages and I fixed it in my garage. A bad design and factory trained mechanics with very limited mechanical and electrical ability, pretty sad.

The small storage compartment in the back of my 2007 2-door jeep wrangler Rubicon is wet, soaked with water. Where is it coming from?

If your Jeep has a soft top -

I have a 2007 Unlimited and has the same problem. My Jeep is a soft top and the water came from the rain and a poor seal of the back window. Part of the problem came from the displacement of the plastic "c" shaped "rear window bar holder" that clips on to the rear on either side of rear window. Ocasionally the clip pops out of place and breaks the seal between the rubber on the window and the rear sides of the Jeep.

Where is the water leak coming from on my 2005 jeep unlimited when it rains

where inside the jeep is it wet? I believe the unlimited model was all removable hard top. any way check the seals around the removable top and at the windows. but that is the best i can do w/out knowing where inside your jeep it's wet.
