SOURCE: can't bleed coolant system on Audi A3!

In my experience with Audis, after any job requiring changing/draining the coolant the car ideally needs to be driven. With the coolant topped up to max drive the car, keep the revs up and shake the car with steering and over bumps where possible. Whatever you do make sure you take at least 2 litres of water/coolant with you, as as soon as the air lock goes, the level drops a lot and quickly. Also keep an eye on the temp gauge and avoid letting it go much over 90 degrees (over 90 on the gauge usually means its well into the hundreds) When you get consistant hot air through the heater, at idle, the level should of settled. If this doesnt work you may have thermostat issues or a blockage. Good luck, let me know how you get on.

The water outlet housing if installed properly, shouldn't leak. The only way to build up too much pressure would be for the thermostat to be stuck closed. I would find out where the leak is coming from before I went any further. Use the bleeder screw in the housing to bleed the air out of the system.

How to bleed coolant bleed value on a 2001 camaro

If you mean purge the air form the system, the best way is to raise the front of the vehicle, start the engine and let it warm up, any air should travel to the highest point. then just slowly add more coolant.

Blowed head gasket

Lots of work to replace. Are you sure it's the head gasket? Did you take the coolant resevoir cap off when cold and let car warm up and see if coolant bubbles out? You may have air in the system. there should also be a bleeder valve at the front left side of the intake manifold to bleed the system and get air out of it. Otherwise go to and register with them. They will give you step by step online instructions as how to replace head gasket, and this info is FREE.

Good Evening. Bleeding the air out of the cooling system is a very important step. What you are looking for is just a steady stream of antifreeze you will see the difference from the flow with air an just fluid. Once you do that top off your reservoir and you should be just fine. Hope this helps, and if you have any more questions please feel free to ask.

1997 Chevy 1500 pickup 2wd v8, stepping down on brake bubbles master cylinder checked all lines checked all wheels and bleed ABS system, still have bubbles. Master cylinder is new. Any ideas?

One of the wheel cylinders is leaking, pulling air back into brake system and it's going back to the4 master cylinder. Look for brake fluid leaking at one of the wheel cylinders, that's where the problem is.

Air pressure

Try this:
First, turn the hearer temp control to full 'Hot' setting.  Then, when the engine is COLD, open the radiator cap.
If you see the coolant, close the cap and add more coolant to the overflow tank, but only up to the 'Full' mark.
If you don't see any coolant when you open the cap, pour in some coolant and let it settle down.  Keep doing this until it stays full.  Also fill the overflow tank to the 'Full' mark.
Good luck.

Air pressure in the engine

Sounds like air in system, does the temp guage fluxuwate or run higher than normal? or heater thros little or no heat? Do the cooling fans come one like they always have? thies are all signs of air in cooling system, and needs to be bleed out.
