Question about 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer
What purpose does a stabilitrak serve in my 2008 chevy trailblazer?
It keeps the rear end stable and not fish tailing when braking hard.

If you get an ABS (anti lock brake system) light on as well, you probably have a bad front wheel bearing (the ABS wheel speed sensor is built-in). Check the harnesses going to the sensors first, they may be damaged from turning. If no ABS light accompanying the Stabilitrak message, then you will need to get it scanned for a diagnostic code to further evaluate.
