If steering wheel shakes bad tire on front. If whole car shakes bad tire on rear. Or tires could be out of balance. If steering wheel shakes when brakes applied, front rotors are warped.

Is this while driving or braking, while driving i would guess bad tires, high road force, chopped or feathered tread, how often do you rotate them, good rule of thumb is every other oil change, have the balance checked and brakes checked at the same time, if not tires possibly a bent rim or hub bearing out of round, if it is during braking your rotors are probably warped, on a cavalier aftermarket rotors are cheap, make sure the hub face is clean of rust build up as this will cause them to not run true and will warp again

SOURCE: 1999 silverado rear end shakes at all speeds. put brand new tires n balanced

for rear end shaking on 1999 silverado z71, 4x4 I replaced the leaf spring shackles which is a common problem with the silverados. Since then I have had no problem. Up until then, every time I hit a bump in the road the truck would shake so bad I thought I'd loose control. Good luck with your repairs.

2005 stratus squeaks in front end over bumps and car shakes when slowing from speeds of 35mph and over

The noise would usually be the strut or the control arm bushings. The vibration could also be the component making the noise, or warped brake rotors.

you may have anything from a bent wheel all the way to suspension issues so do this..take the car to an empty lot big enough you can drive the car around while someone looks at all the wheels looking for abnormalities in each wheel as it rolls slowly around them.even if a tire has a slipped belt, abubble or some out of round issue the car will shake(wiggle side to side whatever) some cars are sensitive to brakes grabbing and causing the same thing..other models have steering dampers(like a shock unit) made into the system that fails, and others have suspension parts and connectors that wear out with uselike ball joints and the may have bad cv joints also(front end driveshafts)so heres what you do..take this list here and do each item at a time to find the reason for the issue and get back to me on what you find...good luck...

Has a shake in the front end shakes then stops then shakes again only at hwy speeds around 70 mph

Looseness in the front end or a tread separation in the tire. This is extreme but you get the idea if there is a bulge near the side of the tire even a tiny one
