Please understand the problem or problems have to be fixed before the codes will remain cleared.
If the problem exists, the code will return as soon as you turn the key on.
Have you fixed the issues that involved the codes ? What were the codes ?

Testimonial: "Thanks for the quick response. It sounds like a good $200 gamble and whenm I told my mechanic, he heartedly agreed that the speed sensor was the problem due to the fact that his coding machine was in good order "

2008 KIA ABS light won't go out

Could be a bad ABS sensor I even had a section of wire where the ABS wire comes out by the wheel that was dirty and corroded. They put a new connector in and cleaned the other connectors up and now it's ok. Even if yore ABS light is on your brakes will still work just your ABS part won.t. My mechanic said its ok to drive even if your ABS does not wok. You should check your mechanic about that to be sure.

How to turn off abs light

im assuming the question is written the abs light has just come on.
If the abs light is on then you need to take your car either to your local holden dealer or your mechanic so they can connect there diagnosic tool to the vehicle to see what code is there and the cause of the light coming on.
once they have the code written down they can then try and clear the code which will then turn the abs light off..

2001 f350 brake pedal goes to floor abs light on

Your abs light is a fault light & codes will be present
& used to diagnose the failed system, as any other
MIL Lamp or coded fault

Why the pedal goes to the floor will be found as you
work your way thru factory trouble charts using the codes

You could have a fluid leak, so check the basic mechanicals
as well

The VCS and Abs Indicator light came on this morning while driving in traffic this morning on a wet road-what does that mean on my 2006 Rav 4 that has 30,000 miles ?

If the lights went back off it means that the systems were activated due to road conditions, did their job, and then returned to their normal standby mode. If the lights remain on you need to have the vehicle's OBD computer read for trouble codes and then determine if any repairs are necessary. You can have the codes read at your dealer, your qualified mechanic, or at many auto parts stores.

Driver's seat won't move and ABS lights come on

See if one of the wires under the seat is pinched and shorting out. The abs light maybe a dirty sensor.

98 Rodeo - ABS light on all the time, Relay Error?

I had a similare problem. Mechanic found a broken ABS wire connection in the rear left shock area. It did not solve the issue. I pulled out the ABS sensor from the rear diff and found a piece of metal megnetized to it. Removed it and things worked. New mystery about the metal though.....
Eventually I had to redo what the mechanic fixed with the wire connection and I replace the entire harness. Removed it entirely and soldered a cable in between.

Hi my abs, break light, bright light, and check engine light are on is there a way to reset these lights? Igot the car checked and there is nothing wrong with it so i tried disconnecting the neg battery...

Codes can be removed from most mechanics with a code reader, they can check and reset them for you, bear in mind these lights came on for a reason, ask the mechanic what did the codes signify. Good luck

ABS issues

Take it back to the mechanic who repaired it and, this time, tell him to FIX it. I don't know which trouble codes he found in the system, but a wheel speed sensor wouldn't cause the brake pedal to lock up! -- this is much more serious --- HECU or Master Cylinder.
