SOURCE: fuel filter 2004 pontiac grand am V6

you will need a 16mm and 20mm line wrench, they tend to rust quite a bit; so you might want to let it soak in penetrating fluid. The location is underneath on the drivers side in front of the rear tire; if not there it will be somewhere close to the gas tank.

SOURCE: fuel filter location

The fuel filter is located underneath the vehicle in front of the gas tank

Squeeze the white plastic quick-disconnect tabs together and pull the inlet line away from the filter, then detach the outlet line from the fuel filter, then unbolt the filter mounting bracket to remove the fuel filter from the car..

SOURCE: 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP / Multi-function Switch

i have the sameproblem. Dealer part was quoted to me at $510.00. All after market parts stores were $350- 450. Try moving the emerg. flasher button while you step on the brakes and someone else watches the lights. I jammed paper beside the button and they work until I can fix it.I had to order the multi-function switch. and you have to pull the air bags to replace it.

Im having fuel pump issues. could you please tell me where the fuel pump is located on a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am SE

The fuelpump is located inside the gas tank, you will need to drop the tank to replace the pump, heres a picture of the pump and in goes in through the top of the tank, the fuelpump is called a fuelpump module because it comes complete with holder sending unit and all other parts as you will see in the picture, hope this helps, good luck.johnjohn2_17.jpg

2002 Pontiac grand am, was real shaky at start up recently but went away after a few minutes of driving. As well as engine sounding horrible. Today at start up it was worse than ever before shutting off...

If the engine was chuggin like it wasn't gettin enough fuel i'd check fuel pressure to see if its the injectors, or the fuel pump. It could also be the filter check it before the pump.

An inline filter can be found in the fuel feed line attached to the rear crossmember of the vehicle.

Using a 21mm back-up wrench and a 16mm wrench on the line, loosen the feed line from the filter
