Question about 1987 Dodge Ram 50
I have tryed everything i can think of push start doesnt work either. i went to start it this cold morning it sputtred 2 times and now wont even try and turn over. i have lights and everything else. im just lost
Sounds like security chip in ur key is bad they loose there codes after so long

could be the battery, sometimes all the electrical would stay on but the battery doesnt have enough juice to crank the car over, if not check the alternater.

my ram 50 starts just like any other vehicle, (no light switch pulling whatso ever), it sounds like somebody haas rewired something wrong or you have a loose connection and when you hit a large enough bump it cuts your power. Start it up and find a speed bump somewhere and drive over it enough to give your truck a jolt and see if it dies.
