Depends on if the torque converter is empty too. Start with 4 quarts. Start the engine and run in park for a minute. Check the level on the dipstick with the engine running and add according to the level on the stick.

YES IT IS POSIBLE BUT YOU WILL NEED TO MAKE SOME ALTERNATION

transmission slipping could be torque converter. or tranny fluid. possibly gear teeth in tranny are ground down in one spot.

Later model cars do not have a dipstick. Contact the dealer for level check.

Hi Red or pink fluid is transmission fluid. If you can inspect the car from underneath, take a look. It could be a simple fix like a transmission pan gasket. If it is not the gasket, it could be the actual transmossion pan. Did you run over something which could have punched a hole in the pan?

Is the hole something thats cracked and damaged looking or simertrical looking because many vehicles have an axess plate that can be removed to look inside with out having to remove the transmossion Im not sure what you mean when you say torque converter wall im assume you mean this hole is on the outside of the housing and you don,t have the transmission off the vehicle

yes it is there is a problem with the transmossion check the fluid level and if not that check the solonoid sensors on the tranny and if not these maybe the tranny may need rebuilt

TRANS HAS TEMP SENSOR IN PAN WIRING, IF TCM SEES HI TEMP, WILL HOLD TRANS OUT OF TOP GEAR. NEED SCAN TOOL TO CHECK TCM TRANS TEMP AGAINST TRUE OIL TEMP.

power steering fluid should not need flushed! transmossion and transfer case should be changed by 100k if it hasnt already been! when u change tranny fluid put new filter too! You can buy a manual on ebay!
