First check the cable from the accellerator is moving the throttle linkage on the engine. If your cable has broken you will not get any response from the pedal.

First of all, Hyundai did not produce the XG350 until 2002. You wrote 2001 Hyundai XG350L. The engine in the 2001 is 3.0 (XG300). Cant help you.

kindly check Battery, if battery is good. then try Push starting it, if the probelm is solved, take the vehicle to garage it might be problem of a PIV Sensor, of Starter motor must be weak or check any back compression is started in your car, if it has started then...
