SOURCE: locating the data link connector
In most honda cars the data link is in one of 2 places. If the car has a ash tray look behind it, if not the small storage space at bottom of center console has a rubber flap at the back that must be removed. Or on the passenger side of the hump there is a removable peice of carpet.

for the most part its under the dash on the driver side and sometimes its under the hood on the driver side you can also stop by your local Ford dealership and they be able to print you off pictures and diagrams showing you where it is located wish you the best of luck Michigan Man.

This link is from the handle to the latch. The door panel has to be removed in order for this problem to be fixed. The linkage is inside the door panel, it is a small diamater metal rod called a link. If you do the job yourself be careful not to break the door panel. In a shop, the labor is 1 hour for the job & if any, parts will be a seperate charge.
