The code can be found sometimes if your lucky on the drivers door jamb ...The dealer affixxes the sticker their for future reference....If you arent so lucky the only way to get the code is by knowing the model # and serial number for audio unit ...This can be found on a label on the unit itself...So if your able to remove the unit your self this will save you some money.....I personally had the same problem with my Honda and after I checked around at the dealer and independent audio shops everyone wanted to charge between $90-$150 to remove cd/stereo to find the information needed to look up code....And of course make system operable.... Well after I removed the unit and got necessary info I was able to obtain the code for free from dealership once I was able to prove ownership of my Honda...It is not that dificult and is worth the time instead of paying the cash....Hope you find it on your door ....Its a five digit numerical code that you enter on your presets....Good Luck... PleaSE RATE MY SOLUTION SO IT HELPS WITH FUTURE DIAGNOSTICS....tHANK yOU

I own a 2009 Pontiac G5 My car starts fine but the battery light stays on and it stops running within 5 minutes. Could you please give me an idea on what could be wrong and when my car does start, wou

You need a new alternator , Check your amps coming out of the back of your altenator you will find it is not sending 14 volts when its running. The reason it starts and runs for a bit after it sits or charges is that the car is running on the battery if you keep this up you will not only need a new altenator but a new battery

Code for a Ford Mondeo 6000cd radio

Hi Geof

Your radio code number should read: 5796.

I trust this will do the job.

I have no other code for your model.

Please let me know if this works.

Please help me to find a code for a Radio/CD in my Honda Element. Here's the info: P/N: 39101-SCV-A030-M1 REF.No: MF823A0 Serial No: EJZ21120986 Assembled in Mexico Here is my e-mail: alenka-zaika@bk.ru...

The car came with 2 cards with the code written on them. If you can't find these cards or it was not written down in your owner's manual, you will have to remove the radio and get the serial # off it. With this serial # Honda can supply the code. Better write it down for future battery replacement. Also found mine on the inside of the fuse box cover under the hood. It's a 5-digit number and is not labeled.

Radio code

GETTING THE RADIO SERIAL NUMBER: <BR>
2000 - Carefully take the front panel off that surrounds the radio and temperature buttons, it will snap straight out. Wiggle the radio out about two inches, it is a tight fit. Get the serial number off the radio. It is on a sticker on the top, left side. Call a Mitsubishi dealer with the serial number. They will want proof of ownership, so have the title ready. After putting in the four digit serial number, hit the cd button and that enters it.The code is also written on an antitheft card that comes with the car and may be written in the owners manual in one of the back pages.
<BR> 1999 - Carefully remove the cup holder by pulling it out, then you will see the sticker with the radio serial number.
<BR> Other Years - I don't know an easy way to get the radio serial number, find a radio install savy person and ask them to help you. My dealership said they would do it for me and charge me for 30-60 mins worth of labor.. (At $75/hour) <BR> <BR>
RADIO SAYS "OFF" OR "LOCK": <BR>
Leave the "off" display on for 1 hour uninterupted, then it will automatically reset back to UNLOCK CODE.
<BR> When you turn it back on again after that time has passed it will ask for "code". <BR> <BR>
RADIO SAYS "UNLOCK CODE:" <BR>
Call your local MItsubishi dealership and ask for the service department.
<BR>They have a computer program where they punch in the serial number from your radio (you have to supply the number) and it will tell them the UNLOCK CODE for your radio. My dealership offered to give it to me free over the phone, if I knew my radio serial number. Enter the code using the buttons on your radio. And write the code down, this will show up everytime your radio looses connection to its power source - the car battery.

Take your registration and title to a dealership and they can look it up for you based on the VIN number of the car. They may charge you up to an hour's labor for doing this though, so make sure they give you the code written down on a card you can keep, and they also show you how to enter it. Otherwise, you'll have to go back and pay again if power is interrupted in the future.
