I know that on some of the Toyota Motors they Put the Filters on the Back side of the Motor Below the Firewall. Others were Right straight down in the Front at the Very Bottom.

2003 rav4; where do I empty the oil? where is the valve located?

It is not a valve but a bolt on the side of the oil pan. Dump it into a container that you can take to a recycler. Change the filter and fill it up with 4-5 qts fresh oil. Hope this helps.

What service(s) does a 2004 rav4 need at 100,000 miles?

This is Toyota's scheduled maintenance for the RAV4 at 100,000 miles...

Replace engine oil and oil filter 1
Rotate tires
Replace engine coolant 2
Visually inspect brake linings/drums and brake pads/discs
Applicable Footnotes:
1) Reset the oil replacement reminder (“MAINT REQD”) light after replacing engine oil, if vehicle is equipped with this light.
2) Initial replacement at 100,000 miles/120 months. Replace every 50,000 miles/60 months thereafter. Refer to "Engine Coolant" in the "Explanation of Maintenance Items" section in the back of this guide for more information.

I was just wondering if you know where I might locate a 2007 RAV4 CV repair manual for free download? Or...at least the oil filter removal/fitting and oil drainage section. I am unemployed and cant afford...

Just look under your car on the passenger side near the wheel, and you will see the oil filter right next to the oil drain container. Hope this helps. :o)

Oil filter

On the V6, the filter is located on the bottom front of the engine on the passenger side. It is silver and looks like an oil filter cap wrench. It is not the traditional oil filter where you replace the entire unit. With this type you remove the cap, drain the oil, and replace the paper filter element and 2 gaskets.

to get the cap off use a standard 65mm-67mm filter wrench "end cap" that you stick on your 3/8" drive ratchet like this one..
