Low refrigerant charge. Unit is cycling on the low suction pressure switch.

This is a measure charge, so it needs to be pumped down, leak located, repaired, and a fresh charge measured back in.

1995 Toyota Camry AC blew 10 amp fuse causing it, fan, electric windows, door locks to quit working. I replaced 10 amp fuse. Now AC light is steady for a few seconds, then blinks and soon blows fuse.

This fuse powers the control system and compressor clutch. Odds are you need a new compressor clutch, but you can try a slightly larger fuse--no more tham 15 amps. If the light still blinks, have someone check the amperage at the clutch. Clearly, the clutch should not be consuming more than 10 amps. The diagram is at the link below.

AC Clutch noise and vibration

An A/C clutch will not make this concern happen, more likely the A/C compressor is begining to go out. The belt on the A/C clutch Assy. free wheels (spins feree on the pulley) when clutch is not engaged. If concern is not present with A/C off this means the bearings in the puley assy. ok. Once the A/C clutch is engaged it locks the compressor against the spinning pulley and turn the compressor chaft and spins the A/C compressor internal shaft. If you hear a loud "screach" when you turn on the A/C it means the belt slipped for a second, if it continiues to screach it means either the belt is loose or that the compressor is internaly locking up. I wouild start by checking the belt tension (if not equipted with and auto tensioner). You can also remove the belt and turn on the A/C and attempt to turn the clutch/pulley by hand, it should turn with a little effect but should not bind or lock at times if that happens compressor is bad.

The ac compressor clutch is not working can i change the clutch or the whole compressor

Hi , I'm David i'll be assissting you today.

To answer your question you can only put a new A/C Clutch on your Compressor.

It will require you to use a Special Tool to Remove the Clutch.

A/C Clutch Puller some Auto Stores may rent these Pullers by only putting a new Clutch on you'll save at Least $200.00-$300.00 ,Plus you don't have to Evacuate your A/C System.

So if i was having the same problem, I would just change out the bad A/C Clutch and Replace it Only:

I am working on a problem with a '93 corolla. When at idle with the AC off there is a slight vibration but the engine RPM is about normal, after turnig the ac on and the clutch engages the vibration gets...

heres what ive seen happen. There is an aluminum hub that the new clutch slides onto. it has a groove in the end 4 a snap ring to keep the clutch from sliding off obviously. when you try to slide your old clutch off past that "ring land" it almost everytime breaks!(thin aluminum casting) so you may need compressor anyway. But more than that toyota had a special idle up circuit dedicated to just a/c and it would carbon up and fail--so you probably dont need a compressor any way. look at that first

1999 GMC Sierra a/c clutch replacement

Sounds like it is more likely the high pressure switch on the accumulator acting up (a common issue with older vehicles). To verify this, try putting 12v on the clutch with a jumper (but only for a few seconds each time) to see if it engages. If it is the pressure switch, you may have to replace it and the schrader valves as well.
If the problem is an electrical connection in the clutch, yes, it can be replaced without removing the compressor but that must be done very carefully.
