Sounds like your security system is shutting the car down. You should be able to leave the key on for 15 minutes and it will reset itself. Make sure you are using factory keys, and they are in good condition.

there is no code its in the key. they sometimes will lose the required resistance.
there is a reciever for the signal on key in ignition and in the key.do you know if this is the type you have?

This might help also, mine did the exact same thing after a careless dealer mechanic loosened the air filter cover during a safety inspection and forgot to tighten it back. After I tightened the screws on the cover it went back to starting normally.

SOURCE: truck won't crank & run when hot
The PMD ( pump mounted driver) black box on the side of the injection pump is shutting down when it gets hot, Best to replace entire injection pump for warranty purposes> repair should be made by qualified diesel mechanic as the **** timing has to be set with scan tool after replacement
