It has a nut on center, to get there, You have to remove horn depressing mechanism, it is attached to wheel, with screws holes 2 or more behind steering opposite side to You on the dash side of the steering wheel, the par You can't see, remove both Philips screws with spring mechanism, the inside of the steering is made of sheet metal, on the center of the steering You will see a big nut with a washer, make sure steering is locked *** the nut with clock, if free place remains after, or You note that steering wheel is secured and nut wont turn, look below, follow column down, than You will see a flex cross on steering axle, if cross OK, steering wheel OK and problem remains, Look at steering box free play if, problem? Take to a shop

Steering column is loose need instructions how to fix it after steering wheel is removed

If you look under the dash. You will see a support bar with a bolt on each side. This hold column in place. The other connection is where the column sits inside gearbox. The gears could be worn or box is loose.
