1995 honda accord vti antenna problem

The antenna used to make a very loud grating noise(3 times going up, 3 going back) when switched on and off. After the last car service, the radio refuses to switch on. What do you think it could be, a dead antenna motor, or dead radio? Help!!!

When the radio was switched on or off, the power antenna made a really loud grinding noise. Someone said it was the "worm"? (cable?) that goes from the antenna motor to the antenna. The radio worked, but since the last service, the radio has ceased to switch on. No power light comes on. I replaced the fuse located near the floor in the interior fuse panel, and the fuse under the bonnet, but it hasn't fixed it. Any advice will be appreciated.

SOURCE: master door switch? or something else? buzzes when i press lock

ok ur door lock switch isnt going out,,however ur drivers front door lock actuator is going or is already bad...have that replaced..also as far as the end noise buzz u hear , that may be ur a.b.s modulator and accumulator cycleing on and off..it may be empty and or leaking..have the a.b.s modulator and accumulator checked at the dealer..its an expensive fix... ur modulator unit in in the front left or right of the vehicle depending if u have a v6 or 4 cyl. its a square unit with a rectangular brake fluid resevroir and a long tubular cylinder (acummulator)... also identify it by the orange connectors...and the brakelines going to it...common symptom with those accords....they leak alot especially if with high mileage..

SOURCE: car brake lights won t turn off when car is shut down 1996 Honda Odyssey

It should be your brake light switch. There is a little plate welded to the arm of the pedal that has a hole with a rubber stopper. The rubber stopper is most likely missing, or damaged. You should be able to take a flashlight and see the plate and the switch. If the hole is plugged up, you will need the brake light switch, if not, replace the plug.

with engine off, grab the fan and shake it to see if there is any play in it. sounds like the bearing may have shelled out in it, causing it to drop down at a low rpm, when engine is revved up at higher rpm, centrifugal force lifts it back up.

Need to no the anti theft radio code for a Honda accord 1995 vti

When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect it again, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your car radio.
The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. If you do not have this code you need to go to your Honda service centre and get them to enter this code for you.

Honda Accord 99 EX Antenna Faulty?

Static won't come from an antenna. It normally comes from your connections. If you've been changing the head, check the contacts where it goes together. The only noise your antenna will pick up, is noise from your ignition. If what you hear is more of a buzzing or clicking that changes as you accelerate, then you should get your ignition checked.
