Contact the service department for your vehicle make. provide details, such as rego, name etc make and model of vehicle and they should then be able to give you the code.

When I turn my 1996 chevy cavalier on the word lock is displayed on the radio. I just boughtit used. how do i get the radio to unlock?

notify dealer code is part of anti theft system -the battery pobably went dead before u bought car that is what usually does it- if u have manual in it tells u how to retrieve the radio id code which will be needed or call dealer first they can advise, go in with codes and id and vehicle proof of ownership and they will give u code for ur radio

Hi i have a hyundai accent 2005 battery went dead now radio is locked i bought it secondhand it didnt have the code in the book my vin number is kmhcg51cr5u292649

you'll have to go to the dealer

if you sweet talk the service writer you might get the code for free...make sure you tell them how much you love the car and the factory radio and would hate to have to buy an aftermarket radio

However, more often than not you'll have to pay for service and at $90/hour it might just be cheaper to get an aftermarket radio

Battery dead on 2004 Honda had to be jumped now radio crashed

Any time battery is disconnected the radio has to have a code reentered. This is a theft prevention issue. You should have gotten the code if you bought the car new, if not call the dealer and he can provide it.

Re key less entry have no idea but could be same issue.
