Look for a Can that has the Red Brushes on the Top at wal Mart. I Think it is made by Simoniz. It will clean ANY Cloth or Carpet that you need to Clean and will work Great. I used to use this when I ran a Detail Shop. Old Standby!

2005 Chevy Equinox Power Seat Switch Diagram!

You see the circuit breaker, supplies voltage to power seat switch, You see the wire color? On hinge side of driver door is probably a wiring harness, probably has a protective rubber boot covering. Pull the boot back far enough to see wire colors, use a testlight, have to penetrate the insulation to get at the wiring. If no voltage, either wire is broken or check for voltage at the circuit breaker. Black wire is ground, check that also.

You see the wire colors for seat motors, those are voltage and ground, depending on which way the motor is moving.

2005 Equinox: 2005 chevy equinox vibration at low speeds...

A low speed vibration is likely caused by a tire. Check to see if any rims are bent. Have the tires checked and replaced as necessary. If the tires are worn unevenly have an alignment done. If this is an AWD model check the driveshaft and support bearing.

Can i add a 3rd row seat to my chevy equinox 2006 it didnt come with one so i was hopin possibly be able to add another one. not sure if they were made like that

It is probably not the best idea to do so. Unless you can ensure that the 3rd seat is fully bolted down, it will create a safety issue. This is mainly because in a rollover accident, the 3rd seat is not secure and will cause severe injury or death if it "pops" loose and is rolling around in the vehicle. You might want to check with IIHS to see if they have any governmental recommendations for this issue.

Sometimes when i start my 2005 equinox i have to press the gass pedal for the engine to start

I had same issue, turns out it was a faulty PCM . The PCM contols mixture of fuel and basically everything electronic in the car (explaining many abnormal occurences with A/C and starting)

The only thing you can do is replace the PCM ($400) and hope its not also faulty. Good luck.Chevy corporate doesnt care and wont do anythingto help.

Chevy Equinox light on on the dashboard

This is you Airbag Readiness light. On start up, it should come on briefly while the vehicle goes through it's check and then go off.

If the light stays on when you're driving, have the system checked immediately. There is a possibility that a malfunction could actually deploy the airbag. It's important to have it checked.

2005 Chevy Equinox the key will not turn past the ACC position so it can not be started. Also, when unlock button hit on remote dash lights flash.

Equinox/Torrent body vehicles have a common ign cylinder problem. The repair is supposed to be to remove the cylinder , clean and coat end with PTE grease. This seldom works. The best way to fix a non turning cylinder is to replace it.

In my Equinox 2007 , i repaired under seat and cleaning after that the Passenger air bag is shown OFF , what cause and solution please ??

The airbag will not be active until enough weight is in the seat, I believe it is somewhere around 70 pounds. Try having someone sit in the seat and see if the airbag is turned on. Let me know if this helps and please rate this solution.  lone99star
