SOURCE: how to replace a coolant level sensor, 2000 buick century

The coolant level sensor is located on the radiator. If you are looking at the engine from the front of the car it will be on the left side. There will some kind of clip holding it in the radiator. Removed the clip and pull the sensor out. You will lose coolant so try to swap it out quick or drain some of the coolant out. Once new sensor is installed, install clip to keep the sensor in place and reconnect the wires to the sensor. Crank the engine and make sure the coolant level is full. This should correct your problem.

SOURCE: How do I replace broken 2002 buick century passenger side mirror?

On the inside trim, you can remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and disconnect the wiring for your controls. Then you can access the bolts that secure the mirror onto the door

A 1986 century, you forgot to list then engine size so i will guess its a v6 engine, if its a four cylinder just follow the top radiator hose to the engine and the same goes for the v6 engine, the housing that the top hose clamps to at the engine is where the thermostat is locted,

Do I need to prime the engine after it has sat for more than a year. If so how do I go about this?It is a 1986 buick century limited with the 6cyl engine.

No you do not have to prime it. But you should change oil and put 5 gallons of fresh gas in it before starting. The oil collects moisture from sitting. The gas gets stale andding more will dilute old.

The driver's side power window is stuck half way up on 1998 buick century limited. What is the problem?

It could be the fuse, does it go down? If not chk. fuse, if fuse ok, see if you can help it down by pushing down on window wile working switch, and also same wile trying to go up, if it don't work or if its slow chanses are the motor is tired and needs replaced or its lost power like bad switch or broken wire. there is also a chanse it came off the track in witch case the door panel will have to be removed.

My 1986 buick century limited will just die in the middle of my driving it. It caught me by complete suprise when I was driving along and all the sudden my service lights are on, the ones that light up...

Sound's like your on the way to fixing the problem, if the drive belt is not working properly it could cause all kind's of problem's, including service light's coming on while driving. i'm guessing when your idle there's no problem, until you start to accelerate the belt is probably slipping on the pulley's. The drive-belt drive's the alternator which charge's the battery, the stalling may be coming from the alternator not charging the battery.
