Question about 2002 Mazda Millenia

Open Question

Need 2002 Mazda Millenia diagram to locate relay 15 and the pin assignments.

I have a 2002 Mazda Millenia, 2.5 l. I am getting engine rpm fluctuations of 500-600 rpm, even after popping transmission into neutral and trying to hold rpm at ~ 1700. At other times, I get a very short, single hard jerking motion. Occasionally, the sets the multiple misfire trouble code. Reset trouble codes and same one returned. When engine/transmission are not hesitating, which is only occasionally, all runs just fine. Odd behavior in that engine MIL will come on for some miles, then go out again. Its as if the ECU is losing power intermittently. I have a bluetooth scantool and PC diagnostics from TouchScan (obdsoftware.net). What should I be looking for? Several recordings show no obvious problems in O2 or fuel trim sensors. I am told to pull relay 15 and jumper pins C & D to test for temporary relief of trouble. Where is relay 15 and the pinout for it.

SOURCE: I have a '95 2.5 Millenia. the check engine light

This is all due to a loose connection somewere. If your car had been worked on check all connector that are not plugged in tightly. Some newer cars even have a special lock lever to the connectors, and if not connected properly you would have all kinds of code poping up.

SOURCE: I have a 2002 mazda

Can't solve, but, had the same problem. Replaced everything the codes indicated. Drove a couple of weeks and the transmission went. Third gear is gone.

Almost $ 2000.00 to chase the codes, now the transmission is going to cost $ 2,700.00 to rebuild.

Take car to a trans. shop before the transmission burns up and the rebuild will be less!!!!

Need a diagram to locate thermostat on 2000 mazda millenia

Hello,\ The thermostat is located in the thermostat housing at the engine side end of the upper radiator hose. You have to drain the engine coolant from the radiator until it is below the level of where the thermostat is.

Possible solution to engine overheating

So if you cant find it, how do you know its bad? The relays are on the RF fender, above the wheel, under the hood. The electrical diagrams lists 3 relays. They are all powered by the ENG fuse and its a 15 amp fuse. The fan is powered by the COOLING FAN fuse 30 amps. Power to the fan motor is on a BLUE/BLACK, BLUE/YELLOW and BLUE/RED wires, of course the BLACK wire is ground. Its a 2 speed fan. I would check for power to the fan motor first as with a car this old, the fan motor is usually worn out. If it does have power to it,m rap on the moto,r if it attempts to wrok, the motor is worn out.
