there should be a fuse box on the drivers side and one under the hood. if you dont have a test light you can pull out one fuse at a time and see if its bad.

What caused new battery to die?

lack of proper charge rate from the alternator is the first place to look
has to charge 14.5-14.8 volts DC or the battery will go flat quickly
next batteries have a warranty period for a reason and brand new is no guarantee to long battery life
take it back for a load test and then have an accredited auto electrician test the alternator

Check to see that the trunk light and glove compartment light actually turn OFF when the trunk and glove box doors are closed. Also, if one of the diodes on the alternator has failed, it may still test "good." With the car sitting, ignition off, fully-charged battery, check to see if the back of the alternator is HOT. If it is HOT, replace the alternator.

ALTERNATOR NOT CHARGING

was the alternator bench tested? or tested on the car? if the alternator tests good off the car and the wiring has been tested, the ground may be loose or disconnected.

Alternator not charging battery

You may need to have it tested to see if it's working the connections on the battery may not let the charge through or the battery itself may not take a charge if it's no good

Alternator is good, battery is good but battery isnt holding a charge

Confirm the battery test...a bad cell causes a run down in the charge...how old is the battery? A slightly swollen battery on the sides is also an indicator of a bad cell. Confirm the alternator test...this is a free service (on your car) at most parts stores...I have seen a rare starter with a "short" that slowly causes a good battery to loose its charge. Hope this helps.

New alternator and new battery but the battery is not holding a charge and I had the alternator tested and the alternator is good.

You need to take it somewhere that can do a parasitic draw test. Something in the car is drawing power from the battery with the key off. You can do this yourself if you own an ammeter. If you do, let me know and I can walk you through the test.

Have the battery tested, even new ones can be faulty. Then check the entire wiring harness between the battery and the alternator.
