Question about 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited

Open Question

2007 Hyundai Santa Fe trunk light won't go out, interior lights stay on with door closed.

When I have the rear door (trunk) closed the light on the instrument panel stays on and so do the two lights in the trunk space. I have taken apart the door and when I mess with the switch the lights get brighter/dimmer as I mess with it, but never fully go out. I even tried disconnecting the connector from the lock mechanism hoping that would work with no luck. Do I need to jumper the plug to make it think it's always closed or try to replace the entire lock mechanism? I'm lost.

WILLEM JANSE VAN RENSBURG - Where are these sensors(wheel) or turnwheels located? I can't find them in any of the vehicle body or electrical diagrams that I have and I don't know where to look.

Nevermind, I see you were just re-posting a solution to an ABS problem on another car in your source which has absolutely nothing to do with my problem. Thanks for wasting my time ......

if it is still under warranty, take it back to them, tell them to fix it right this time, and yes you can reset only if you have a handheld device to plug into you car, still doesn't solve the problem though,"TAKE IT BACK"

SOURCE: I have 2002 Santa Fe Hyundai. One of the rear

Should be just snap on ands of if you break one you should be able to pick it up at any auto parts store. First remove the door handle and if necessary the electric window switch and snap the panel off. Next you will need a flash light and a pair of needle nosed pliers because unless you have small hands you won't be able to reach it. Owe yeah, be prepared to tear through the plastic behind the panel to access the handle. You may also try to pull ut off from a corner to see if you can remove it without destroying iy.

I have a 2013 hyundai santa fe and the interior lights do not come on when opening the door. I cannot find a way to turn them on. A friend has a 2014 and my car does not work the way his does

Can you turn the interior light on manually? My 2009 Hyundai Sonata has two switches on the interior light fixture. One is labeled 'Door', and must be depressed for the light to work with the doors. The other switch is to turn the light on/off manually.

Why interior lights do not come on when doors are opened , 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe

theres more than likely a nob to turn to brighten the interior lights located near the light switch that turns all your headlights on.

Is this a problem with my Santa Fe's computer?

as for the check engine light sometimes the tightness of your gas cap can make that light come on and stay on, try tightening it or loosening it just a little bit. have no clue on the rest of the issues or the possibility of it all being linked but i know the cap cap has been the culprit for check engine light issues i've had when mechanic checked and said nothing wrong!

2002 Hundyai Santa fe-not able to open rear door

The interior panel on the rear hatch needs to be removed to access the latch mechanism and open the door. Then it can be inspected to determine the cause/problem and repaired at that time.

Access to tail light wiring harness plug

You have to remove the access panel on the interior side of the passenger compartment to access that connector.. it's a simple procedure after you see the wire harness and bulkhead boot.

Yes. Your Local Auto Parts Store should Carry these as Direct Replacements. If Not, Sears Carries them.
