Sebring jxi convertible 1999 turns over wont start is it the crank sensor or distibutor?

Could be several things, when trying to start it look at the tachometer if the tach moves when attempting to start it's most likely not the crank sensor, not definitively the distributor, but that;s as good a test as possible without a scan tool with bi-lateral capabilities.

My son has a 89 Accord lx. It will turn over, but won't start. It did the same thing a week ago, wouldn't start for 2 days, then started and ran ok. Now the problem has returned. It has fuel injection.

check the distibutor and when it wont start put a screwdriver int he sparkplug wire and move it close but not touching the valve cover and see what kind of spark you get if its yellow replace the wires if no spark the replace the ignition coil its about $100 but it can cause intemittent problems and then fail completley
