No, any manual has a price on it. If you want to spend at least $16.00 to $17.00 for a haynes repair manual for that car, it covers just about everything from bumber to bumper. You can it at any auto parts store.

SOURCE: Toyota camry V6 1993 Car has

if the car is missing only when it is under a load my first guess would be the coil, i would hate to point you in the wrong direction since cash is short for everyone right now, you didnt mention the last time you changed the sparkplugs and wires but it seems if it was one of these the skip would be continuous, although i have seen a bad wire cause a skip under load,it really could be a number of things but this is the best place to start

SOURCE: oil leaking and don't have a clue what it is .what could it be and can it cost me big time or not

I would have you oil pressure checked. The oil pump or bearings could be going out. The lifter noise on this car usually will go away faster then 5 minutes. I think the noise is lasting a little to long.

Do u have a manual for a 1990 300zx

I went on ebay & found this guy with the nissan factory repair manual for around $20. it's all on one disc so don't expect a book to come like i did. this is a great deal for the money. original cost of this book is around $100.

Leaking valve seals. I want to know the cost to replace versus trading in the vehicle. The vehicle has 176000 miles and is in perfect condition. In fact, the original brakes still have 2/3 of the pads...

Hello
The valve stem seals can be replaced without removing the cylinder head(s) using special tools, so the cost would be be around $600.00 for the V6 engine and about $350.00 for the 4 cylinder engine. Since you don't mention which engine you have I provided both estimates. Keep in mind the parts to do this are the least amount of the cost (about $30), the major cost is labor, labor rates vary wildly from state to state even city to city, so get multiple estimates, Any well trained technican and well equipped repair shop can do this basic repair. If the new seals don't correct the problem which I assume is smoke then the engine has other much more expensive problems like worn piston rings and worn valve stem guides.

My front lambda sensor has gone on my vw golf reg x509egc what price range shud it be to get it fixed coz i dont wanna get ripped off. many thanks paul

Being ripped off is when money changes hands & NO
Service whatsoever is performed.

That is called Fraud & is a crime

Your never ripped off, ever

You just don't like or understand the
service agreement between you &
the merchant

O2 sensors cost around $40.00 & could go
above a hundred on eruo vehicles

Look on ROCK AUTO.Com for a price & different brands

You surely can screw in any O2 Sensor yourself
It won't take more than 10 minutes

You being in the UK vs: the US who knows what they cost

Have 1998 toyota camry LE 3.0 5 cylinder. Has been running rough for about 2 weeks. Check engine light came on. Test said spack issue on cylinder 5, Had this problem once and was coil pack. could it be the...

A fuel filter would not have an effect on one cylinder
& you know how long it was in the car
It could be there 3 to 5 years & be just fine

Don't assume that a code last time that pointed you to a bad
coil will happen that way again.

Codes don't really tell you to change anything
You could have a code for #5 & walk a new coil for 4 cyl's
until you get to # 6 now you found the bad one.

You have several coil packs that feed more than one
plug, you have more to consider

I approach this the way I am, as you most likely
can not test anything, because you lack the proper
equipment ,so you have to do things the hard or longer
way of trial & error. Just don't throw money & parts at
it in doing so

Are the O2 Sensors really old? Over 80,000 miles
Do you have any vacuum leaks including exhaust before
the O2 & converter?

Why does a jeep libety turnup cost $500.00+ .Do the coils have to be replaced along with the sparkplugs.Or why do so many things have to be replaced ? Isit because of the 100,000 + miles on it?

It really depends on where you take and the costs of the parts. Some shops around here charge 200 dollars an hour.(they aren't that good) I have purchased some plug wire sets for 140 dollars my cost. Most garages will add money to the parts. If it costs them a 100 dollars it costs you 150 dollars. Tune ups are not that difficult , you can do it yourself. Buy a manual-25.00, buy the tools to do it-100.00, plugs 6.00 a piece=50.00 for 8, air filter,(which they don't replace) 25.00, fuel filter (which they don't replace0 15.00. There 215.00. You save the rest and will only take a few hours at most.

Engine light - cylinder 2 and 3 misfiring mecanic recommends replacing plugs and coil packs Any idea on cost to replace?

Wrong diagnoses

You will only have (1) bad COP Ignition Coil, at the most

The Spark Plugs are not an issue at all ,unless they are in the
motor over 60,000 miles or more than 3 years,& not the cause
of the misfires.

You can replace a coil yourself in 15 min
They cost $59.00 tops at the auto parts store

On a V8
Wells 5C1179
Wells (duralast/autozone) C1234 Both the same coil
On a V6 you can look on Wells web site or a lot of
internet sites

If you have a V6 & most L/S probably are & you have
to do the right side of the motor, then the upper intake has
to come off ,to do coils or plugs

I own a 2004 LS & wouldn't let anyone touch it

Very few people are good with L/S Misfires or most Fords
Some shops avoid them

There are several ways to look for misfires
You have to have scan tool software & know how
to use $ Mode 6 & have & use an oscilloscope
All testing has to be done on a road test with the
test equipment on the coils
Doubtfull many repair shops even know what I'm
referring to.

You can solve any coil issue yourself ,if you buy one
coil only & put it in a cyl with a misfire code
PO 301 thru PO306 or 8

If you don't get the bad coil, replace the old one &
continue to walk the new one

There are some real serious issues you will someday
face & you will need my help, as a dealer can't figure out

You have to use logic,& get your head around how these
systems work & loose the ford product additude & things go
as they would on any vehicle brand.

Don't even go near a dealer, waste of time & huge amounts
of money
Do it my way
Get involved & install a coil & go from there

Manuel for rebuilding oil pump on 1996 plymouth 3.3

I don't know why you want to rebuild your oil pump, it's much safer and cheaper in the long run to replace it with a "new" one. If you have to go back in because the rebuilt one has too high of tollerences, that can cost a lot more in time and money.

The truck alarm system activated and will not allow the key to start it.

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. More then likely, the alarm needs reset. Check in your owner manual to see if you have the code. If you don't, it is best to contact the dealer to get the code. It will cost money but you will have the code. Many people will give you the wrong code over the internet.

When (at how many miles) should I have the timing belt replaced, and what's the cost?

about every 100,000 miles you should have it replaced, and if you don't know how to do it yourself, the cost will usually vary, depending on the mechanic you take it to
