Where do you put/check water in an oldsmobile eighty eight?

I'm borrowing a friend's car and it's running a little hot. She said I should check that water, but I can't see where that reservoir is. Please help.

There will be a plastic reservoir mounted to the right or left hand fender under the hood. The lid will say "Use coolant only", and there will be marks on the side of the reservoir to indicate full hot, full cold.

Always check the coolant level with the engine hot, unless you know it to have sufficient coolant in it.

Have you checked your coolant level? Is your car overheating? Sounds like it could be overheating. I have seen cars do that exact thing when they were ran completely out of water. Just thought I'd ask if you had checked that possibility out yet. Hope I could help you out.
