The owners' manual will designate when to inspect it.Replace it before 100K to be safe, and assume it's never been replaced unless you have its history. don-ohio

The fuse for my radio blew and i replaced it but now the lcd for the radio doesnt work. what could be the problem?

check the other fuse for battery power...does the clock work or the power port/cig lighter socket...if not then the bat fuse failed too...or maybe just a bad radio. Try to talk to a dealer mechanic for similar problems on the same model.

How do I find diagram of seat belt retractor assembly mercury mariner

You never need a dealer except for warrantee
work

You do understand that any repair shop performs
the same services & better in most cases

You have to wrestle the buckle out where it should
be & then snap the belt to get the retractor ratchet
working

If the retractor fails, then you have to get a complete
new belt assy at dealers parts counter

How to find radio code for 2005 mercury mariner.

You can't reset it yourself. It takes a scanner at your Local Dealership to do it. People do it, (new battery or dead battery) everyday unaware that doing so can and usually does, arm the theft system and either kills the radio or the whole car. To me it's just another built-in defect that requires dealer assistance. It's a buzz kill I know. They will need your VIN, and then they call HQ to get the code for your radio, which will also bring your whole car back to life.
