Question about Dodge Ram 1500
I have a dodge ram 1500 and my abs light is on when i drive, but when i drive my speedometer bounces sporadically. from cross referencing the rest of the internet of what i could find i think this maybe the issue hopefully somebody can help locate the sensor or if somebody may have an idea of what is wrong any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
On the back of each rotor is a part that looks like a gear. the sensor gauges tire speed from it and is mounted next to it.

Hi my name is Allen!
The sensor you are looking for is located in the rear diff housing, its mounts on top of the housing it is also used for ABS if equipped.

Removed cluster from dashboard and unplugged & turned the whole cluster clockwise very slowly and needle started moving from 150 mph back down to 0 mph when rotation was completely done. Kept cluster upright while re-installing and plugged back in the plugs on back and everything was fine. Called local Dodge dealer and told me would take 30-45 minutes to reset and would cost approximately $70 to fix. Took about 8-10 minutes of my time and saved myself $70. This may not work for everyone but this was my amazing quick fix thanks to GOD for giving me this thought to try this.

Problem: I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 L HEMI. My ABS and Parking Brake lights were illuminated, and my speedometer needle would "bounce". Also when sitting at a stop sign or just sitting idle, the engine would stall, and often times stop running.
Solution: After long research on this problem, I decided to dig in and try to find the problem myself. I replaced the Rear ABS Sensor
($35) that's located on top of the rear differential. Still no fix. I then unplugged the ABS Controller (or Module) that's located directly behind the battery (You should see the metal brake lines running into the top of it.) When I unplugged it, I noticed LOTS of moisture in the plug. Using an air hose, I blew out the water and let it dry good. When I plugged it back in, and hooked the negative battery terminal back up THE PROBLEM WAS SOLVED!! Simple fix. Hope this helps.
