no points on ur car (check from the center of distributor cap and follw that wire, it leads to the COIL) and gap is usually indicated under the hood on a sticker. Should be right near the front of the hood (on the underside) or just above the rad.

Unplug your battery terminal for 30 minutes, this should reset the system and clear all codes.

Vw prob golf tsi yr 2010 eps light on not going off also cythalic convverter light on does not seem to effect cars performance ,but wont pass doe test what can i do to fix this tnks

Stop using it & educate yourself

Google OBD 2 Systems & learn about vehicles

You DO NOT use any vehicle with ANY Dash Lights on,
after the motor is running or your driving

It won't pass inspection
It won't run Emission Monitors
It has all sorts of Codes in various systems

While you continue to drive & believe things are okey,
they are from that

You will be spending a thousand dollars, just to get caught
up on Preventative Maintenance, most likely never done,
& look at all data & road test & diagnose all the codes in
several systems

2010 Vehicle is fairly new,so you should have none of those issues

The fact you ask-- what can you do--,pretty much tells the story

You need to go to a dealer or the best Euro,VW/Audi Shop
you can find ,as your not working on those problems yourself

How do you reset the computer nissan armada

You don't

Your asking how do you clear the Malfunction
Lamp on the dash?

If you clear it before you diagnose & repair the reason
it came on,then your loose all the data you need to
start the diagnostic part

If you think you will fix it by having the light go out ,your wrong

I would suggest a code reader verse disconnecting the battery,
so you don't risk loosing this you need working, like the radio,
windows etc.

Each vehicle is different you need to know you vehicles stratagies

You shouldn't need to reset the computer as long as you don't disconect the battrey. Just unplug & remove the old switch from the pedal & replace with new one & plug in.

I would like a list of what all is done to my 2008 EOS for an 80,000 mile maintenance visit

That varies so much from place to place shop to shop that it is best that you read your owners manuals which outlines the needed services by mileage. I would look it up but VW doesn't allow free sharing of the manuals, you must buy them from the dealer or find a used one on a site like eBay Motors.

How to remove v-0731

Don't know what your asking

With any vehicle issue, you check for codes,
use the codes to diagnose the system with
the fault & properly repair

When someone says to Reset,Get Rid Of,Clear,
Remove, any check lights on the dash, that usually
is a total lack of knowledge,no owners manual,&
very little intention to have the vehicle repaired

2010 audi q7 shows on the board service 700km 30 days. what does it mean? what service is it?

It's the normal car service reminder due. Whichever will be reached first: 700 km, or 30 days. In other words after 700 km, or if you don't drive the car 700 km within 30 days, you should carry out the car maintenace: engine oil & oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, pollen & dust cabin filter, ...
Then you will need to reset the "Service due" message on the dashboard. For Audi Q7 made year 2010, the Service Interval Indicator can only be reset with the VAS 5051 or similar diagnostic tool connected to the data link connector of the car.

My air bag light came on this morning how do I reset it?

Don't think you understand the technology that has
been on all vehicles for 30 years, that being OBD1
starting in 1980 & the current OBD2 96 thru 2011

Any time you get any check lights etc on your dash your
vehicle has detected a problem

Don't you find that the light is not normal & wouldn't
you want to know why

Read your owners manual

Your car has a problem that you need to first check for
codes,have diagnosed & then repaired

Those are the 3 steps you will be taking at least once
a year for the rest of your life & it will be expensive, if you
don't learn the technology & work on your on car

You have a malfunction in the SRS System (air bag)
& they may even be turned off in case you needed them

You NEVER need a dealer for ANY repairs, but you do
need to go to a local repair shop within a couple of days
ANYTIME you get ANY check lamp,MIL Lamp,Wrench,
etc on your dash.

A car is not like Windows 7 at all

It does not self diagnose & clearing the lights & codes only
prevent further diagnoses

There are NO computers used by your mechanic to do anything

ALL Scan Tools etc are data processors
Your car has no computer as you know them

There are also no tune-ups for 30 years, that is an
industry term for spark plugs & mostly a waste of
your money on other items
