2005 ford five hundred diagram of 1st and 2nd cylinder when they misfire

Was there a misfire code? Generally with a misfire, I want to check fuel--spark and compression on cylinder in question. If two adjacent cylinders have a misfire code, I'd check head gasket.

99 740il misfire cylinder 1,5 and 7 fuel cut off

Might be a ghost in the machine or an early sign of future problems.
If the light stays off there is no need to do anything but investigation will be needed if it returns.

Diagnosis will be better entrusted to someone familiar with the system and has access to the data for the car.

Car sputter, engine light stay on now its plinking a lot, code # are p0300,302,202

A P0300 diagnostic code indicates a random or multiple misfire, most likely cylinder number#2 (302). check the ignition system , to confirm it,check spark plug in 2nd cylinder , is it black in color as compare to other cylinders .if the spark plug look oily , may be 2nd cylinder piston Rings problem.its just general idea

98 passat # 2 missfire help

If your getting a P0302 ( cylinder #2 misfire detected), the first thing to check is the spark plug. If it's new then the next thing to check is the plug wire. If it has individual coils, then swap it out with another one and see if the misfire moves too. If so then the coil is faulty.

I have a 2002 TrailBlazer with the straight 6,diognostic check said #3 cylinder was dead or misfiring, also map sensor showed up. #3 cylinder was misfiring, so to test the coil pack I swapped #3 coil pack...

did you replace only one spark plug? that can cause issues because of differences in resistances between cylinders. also, did the map code stay off after replacing
?
