loosen the OIL cap when the car is running,if the idle picks up and it starts to run better then the crank case valve on the back of the intake manifold is bad and needs to be replaced

red is postivie,black is negative, make sure where you are jumping it from is the same, make sure the other vehicle is running

1998 bmw 740il will not start


check battery cables.make sure they are not loose are or corroded.if battery cables okay.problem could be faulty starter - electronic immobilizer control - ignition switch + check its fuse first.if you disconnect battery cables besure to turn off radio so you wont lose code.
