ALL DATA time to R&R valve cover gaskets both sides is 2.1 hours. you will need to remove brackets and connectors on either side, It will also help to take the upper plenium bolts out but not completly pull the plenium. If you don't have a lot of mechanical experiance and some basic tools. you may want to consider to have a local a shop to perform this service for you after you get a estimate. RON.

Turn the key to run, truck in park, and jump the starter from the small wire to the large wire on the starter solinoid. If it starts, all is good and your fussible link is probably right. The fusable links are located in the engine compartment, under a cover on the firewall.

There you go - goto the index of this PDF, find fuses p160 or something, theres a picture of the "distribution Box" right hand side of engine about 1/3 way back - thats where the links are.
Thumbs up please!!! Thanks.

It doesn't matter because they all carry +12V to the respective circuits. What does matter is which fusible link goes to which circuit (assuming they are different) but if you didn't cut them off, then they should still be connected to the correct circuits.
