cant seem to find post about taking door panel off to fix power passenger window

  • Marc Taylor Jan 15, 2013

Door panels are typically held on w/ screws in the arm rests and possibly other locations that may be concealed by removable covers. Once the screws have been removed, you need plastic panel removal tools or a putty knife to pop the panel out where it is held by plastic push-in fasteners.

Remove the door panel and check the spring, if broken, the motor does not have enuf power to raise the window w/o the spring.

It sounds like the battery terminals and/or alternator wasn't hooked up properly. Try checking all connections once again.

Had that happen on a 2002. It was the body control computer. Cost about $300- has to be programmed by the dealer.
