The cble is housed with a rubber covering on most. If so remove the cable and soak it with WD40 as good as you gat get. Use the red nozzle to spray in side the housing. If the cable has a spiral weaved wire housing spray that housing so the penatrating oil soaks right through it. Most of the time the cables will stick about one foot from the rear part of the cable. Sitting for such a short time yours should free up in a day or so. Modt that sit for 6 months or more need to be replaced

What is the rumble on braking in rear of my 2010 fusion hybrid 100k miles?

it could be the drum/rotor is warped causing the noise or the pads/shoes have gone hard or rust build up on the edges causing it as well. either way have the brakes checked for condition.

Warning light as shown up on my dash, its like a round circle with teeth around the edge and a ! symbol in the middle.

This symbol is your brake warning light, which resembles a brake drum with two brake shoes on each side. Your emergency brake may be engaged or your brake fluid is low. Engage your emergency brake and release it to see if that fixes the problem. Next item to check is your brake fluid level. If it is your brake fluid, and it continues to give you the warning after refilling the brake fluid, you could have a leak in your system.

Did you have the emergency brake set? Is the temperature below freezing? I have had water freeze in the emergency brake cable housing and it kept the brakes applied.
