Question about 2003 Volvo S80
The car was park for 3 months and we tried to jump it ,but they put the jumping cablers on the wrong way , so it will not start or do nothing, So do it sound like the fuse, if so what one is it,were is it located at?
The main fuse near the battery terminals will be blown that feed the car

If it is the alternator, you will have a dead battery too. Have you charged the battery to see if it will allow you to get to a parts store and have the charging system tested? I would do to that before tearing into the alternator and spending the big bucks. Taking the alternator out is not a big deal, two bolts to loosen and the wires in the back to unhook - after you take the ( -) wire off the battery. Keep the wire connections straight for hooking up later. To get the alternator belt loose, you will need to loosen the adjustment screw until the belt can be pulled off the pulley. Good luck

hi check/ clean all fuses they corrode /where the fuse connects in the holder i use a phillips screwdriver to clean the brass ends and replace the fuses they (they may and do loose contact under load which will stop the car from charging and flatten the battery good luck hope it works out

change battery cables.if your battery over 5 years over replace it.i had same problem with batteries after 5 years .i am looking at starter you replace starter relay . but the starter could have a open circuit.take it off have it tested at auto zone or advance auto. they wont charge you to test it.

Not positive it is the same thing, however, when setting up my iPOD adapter to the radio, I made the mistake of not following the instructions to the T, and it caused my sunroof to stop working... after a day (which I later found out gave the system enough time to "reset" and connect), I turned on my stereo, pushed the 3CH to Dolby Surround, and that did the trick. It's been about a year... and I've had no problems with the sunroof!
