Ebay, Craigslist, and local junkyards are a good place to find used mirrors. They have the options, based on the junk cars in their yards and they can look around in other junkyards online to find the right one. I would not think you would pay more than 20-30 dollars. I had 4 saturns and replacing the mirrors was easy, but then I have a roll around tool box and 30 years of backyard wrenching experience. Basically you remove that interior cosmetic part at the front of your window, dig through the insulation, find the bolt heads and remove them. The mirror comes off and you reverse the process to install.
As per the Haynes manual for your vehicle.

Hope this helps, let me know if you need any other help.
Just wanted to let everyone know, in order to change the window regulator on a 1996 saturn you do need to remove the exterior door which is connected by about ten lock screws around the inside of the door. you also need to remove the side view mirror and the door handle which has a little plug on the bottom right side that should come out with a pair of needle nose or something, then the handle should slight to the left and off. Pull the hole outer panel up and off and there you go. But you do still need to remove the inner door panel to put new nuts and bolts to hold the new regulator in because the orginals are held in buy rivets so you have to drill those out.
Hope that helps anyone.
They have 2 white retainers on the back of the corner trim panel. They usually just pop off, gently pry from the top & it should come off.Sometime the retainers pull off the trim.If this happens just slide them back in before you re-install. Hope this helps
